I have been working with people from all over the world: Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Burma and more. They are all so different but it has been great. I am tutoring a Somali girl who is ten who at first said I shouldn’t tell her stories about Jesus. Her family is Muslim and have been in the US for awhile. But God has been so faithful to open doors to share with her through random books she is reading and other conversations. It is a slow process but little by little I’m getting to share with her.
One of my favorite things I do is a Bible club on Saturdays with children from an apartment complex where a lot of refugees live. Those kids are learning more and more about Jesus in a really genuine way. They pray for each other and their families. Please pray for them as some are not coming as much even though they were so interested before.
2 families have decided to follow Jesus! One Burmese family and one Sudanese/Ethiopian family. Both are being discipled weekly.
